Hard hitting, fast paced and manically exciting, rugby is a sport that is not for the faint of heart. At Zayed Sports City, the Harlequins Rugby Club has grown to over 1,000 players and continues to offer a variety of great programmes for residents of the capital.

A volunteer-run organisation, the Quins are open to players as young as four to join the city's largest youth rugby programme. Training for the junior division (ages four to 18) is Sunday and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. Those who are interested in joining should consider attending the Junior Welcome Back Night on 11 September.

Touch league starts from age 12 and continues through adult teams. These sessions are held Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. Play will begin in late September.

Senior training is in progress for adults in the rugby union league. Adults train Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. The club will field two men's 15s teams, a veteran's team, and two ladies 7s teams.

The season runs to the beginning of April and new members of all ages are welcome to attend training sessions for two weeks prior to registering.

Online registration is now open through abudhabiquins.com and questions can be sent to membership@abudhabiquins.com.
