The beginning of September saw the start of the new season for Abu Dhabi Netball League, the largest weekly sporting event for women in the capital. ADNL was established over 20 years ago and is designed for both competitive and social players.

Aiming to allow those who participate at a high level to achieve their full potential, the group also recognises that the league provides a strong social network for its members.

The majority of women are between the ages of 14 and 45, catering for students to those working in a professional career. ADNL is a not-for-profit organisation and is run by a board that meets regularly to manage the financial, coaching, administrative and social aspects of the league.

The new season commences on Tuesday 9 September with a play and pay evening costing AED 20 per participant, and old and new players came down and establish teams for the coming season.
