The Abu Dhabi Youth League is underway and the ZSC Academy U12 boys have kicked off their season with a huge victory. Taking the match 6-2 against the City Football Schools development squad, the win marks the first ever game for the new team and proves their ability to compete to the high level set by more established clubs around the city. Watch some of the action in this video created by one of the parents!

While the high performance team is still waiting for the start of the UAEFA Academies League, they continue to bond and work on their strategies. Social media sensation Hamed Al Khateri (@17k1), held back by an injury at the moment, is currently with the U16 team, biding his time with scholarship-bound footballers until his anticipated call up to join one of the Arabian Gulf League Pro-Club Academies. If this happens, he will be the third player of Head Coach Andrew Foley to be promoted since last season, more than any other private or semi-government academy.

Our youngest players are also continuing to learn football through some very fun games and drills.
