Back for the fifth year, Abu Dhabi Wilson Tennis Cup is prepared to welcome 500 registrations into the region's largest participation-based tennis tournament and players young and old are honing their skills in anticipation.
Abu Dhabi Wilson Tennis Cup is a tournament like none other in the area, offering a unique spread of categories and divisions to provide a tennis-positive experience for everyone involved. Diversity includes divisions for U8 through to 40+ and categories exclusively for amateurs plus ones for pros to enter. At the end of the three weeks, 24 champions will take home their trophies and make a mark in the tournament history books.
The event also has the exciting chance for people to challenge in several categories, an important element to the development of tennis in the region. Up-and-coming players such as Emirati Ali Al Marzooqi will play in the Open category for the first time, pairing with ZSC Academy Director Sigi Meeuws in hopes of winning the mixed men's category. Top female athletes will challenge Magali de Lattre in Women's Singles Open in hopes of taking the title that she has held for four years running.
Registration is open until 13 February with play scheduled from 23 February to 17 March. To enter, visit abudhabiwilsontenniscup.com or email email@example.com.
