MORE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE INTERNATIONAL TENNIS CENTRE
Zayed Sports City is making the International Tennis Centre even better! It has been announced that work will commence in the coming weeks to upgrade the male and female locker rooms. The sleek new designs have been approved and the team is ready to begin the refurbishment process in June, with a projected timeline of three months.

ADFST WINS DESERT OPEN FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP
On the weekend of 25 and 26 April, Zayed Sports City Ice Rink played host to the Desert Open Figure Skating Championship, an annual competition now in its fourth year. The biggest yet, it welcomed 112 skaters from nine clubs and three countries and offered three competitive programmes.
 
ZSC SKATERS HEADING TO MALAYSIA
Skaters from Zayed Sports City will be boarding planes in late June to compete in Skate Malaysia. This will be the first international competition attended by a delegation this large. Taking place from 26 to 29 June at Sunway Pyramid in Kuala Lumpur, 12 competitors will be joined by two coaches for the recreational competition.
     
 
BOWLER OF THE MONTH
During April, 25 bowlers vied for the chance to win AED 1,500 and the Bowler of the Month title. After narrowing the field down to 12 qualifiers, the final was held on 3 May.

During the first week of camp all the blue gazebos were damaged by an overnight storm to such an extent that management deemed them beyond repair. To the surprise of the manager, however, the structures made a return to the softball pitch after the weekend.
