Zayed Sports City has become a stage for the world’s best bowlers to showcase their talents as the World Men’s Bowling Championship rolls into town. The event is nearly a week underway and has already named a winner in the Singles category, where Canadian Dan MacLelland edged out Emirati Hassan al Shaker for the win. Still to play are the Doubles, Trio, Team and Masters divisions.
In all, 272 bowlers from 50 countries registered, hungry for the crown. They were joined by team managers and supporters from their home countries, as well as their compatriots that live in Abu Dhabi, who came along to cheer them on.
