Global Spectrum

With a mandate to bring the most exciting and entertaining events to the UAE, Zayed Sports City is proud to have partnered with Global Spectrum, which has been appointed to run the operations of Zayed Sports City and its facilities since April 2009.

Global Spectrum started its operations in Tampa, Florida in 1994 as Globe Facility Services, before being acquired by the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectator in January 2000. This acquisition provided the company, under the new name of Global Spectrum, exceptional and innovative management, marketing, operations and event booking services for public assembly facilities, including arenas, civic and convention centers, stadiums, ice facilities, equestrian centers and theatres. Staffed by some of the most professional and experienced senior management in the industry, Global Spectrum is the fastest growing venue management firm in the world today.

Global Spectrum has been selected by Mubadala Development Company PJSC to manage the Zayed Sports City Complex, a role which includes providing consulting and guidance to the city of Abu Dhabi.
